Washington finished his junior football season as PCA’s lead rusher

Porter’s Chapel Academy running back Tyler Washington finished his junior football season as the Eagles lead rusher.

Washington completed the season with 661 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns on the year.

Porter’s Chapel ended the season with a 4-6 record with the help of Washington’s running game under head coach Blake Purvis.

Although Washington was a key player on the Eagles offense, he also was one of the team’s lead tacklers with 56 tackles and three sacks this year.

Since football season has come to an end, the multi-talented Washington is now playing basketball under coach Walter Hallberg IV.
