Warren Central High School ninth grade boy’s basketball team defeated Germantown Monday night in a close 46-44 win.
Kevin Jackson led the Vikings all night, and he finished the game with 15 points.
By halftime, the Vikings took a 21-20 lead over Germantown, but the match remained close throughout the entire game. The Vikings would eventually walk away with the well deserved win, showing they bounced back successfully from last week’s loss to Vicksburg.
Lazaveon Sylvester and Gaylon Turner were also key players in the Vikings victory. They both put up 10 points each, while teammate Tali Hatchett scored 8 points.
