Warren Central Madrigals to host biannual Singe Feaste

Published

It’s time again for Warren Central High School’s biannual Madrigal Singe Feaste.

The event gives students in the school’s Madrigal choir, a high level competition choral group, a chance to perform a rarely heard style of music, a play set in the 1400s and a holiday concert.

Those in attendance will be serenaded by music from the renaissance while enjoying a three-course dinner and wassail toast, made in hopes of good health to all that partake. The Mississippi Boy Choir will also perform.

This year the dinner will be held Thursday, Nov. 21 through Saturday, Nov. 23 starting at 6:30 p.m. nightly at the  B.B. Club Vicksburg, 721 Clay St.

The show lasts for approximately two hours and tickets are $25 per person or $200 for a table that seats eight.

For more information or to purchase a ticket, call Eric Johnson, WCHS choir director, at 601-638-3372.
