Violent crash seriously injures two on Highway 27 & Warrior’s Trail

A multi-vehicle crash at Highway 27 & Warrior’s Trail left at least two with serious injuries.

Three vehicles were involved in a crash around 12:30 p.m. Traffic was diverted around the scene while firefighters from Warren County and Vicksburg worked to clear the area.

The violent collision left a long field of debris. Two people were reported to have suffered serious injuries related to the crash and had to be cut out from the wreckage.

The vehicle believed to be responsible for the incident was reported to have been traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed into a ravine off the highway and came to rest in the treeline.
