Vicksburg resuming utility disconnections June 9

Published

on

The City of Vicksburg is ending its disconnection waivers for nonpayment of utility bills due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Disconnections will resume Tuesday, June 9, for unpaid bills for service in March, April and May of this year.

The city warns that reconnecting may be delayed up to 48 hours once a utility is disconnected.

If you have questions about your city utility bill, call 601-634-3414.

City utilities include gas and water.

All utility customers in Mississippi were given a temporary reprieve in March due to the COVID-19 crises. The statewide reprieve expired May 26.
