Vicksburg police officers arrested a man Monday wanted in connection with a shooting into an occupied vehicle earlier this month.
Kentavious Ford, 17, of Vicksburg, was arrested following a brief foot chase. He was wanted for shooting into a vehicle occupied by a former girlfriend on Oak Street Jan. 14.
Ford was identified by police officers who were responding to reports of a male subject with a gun making threats in the Locust Street area. Fleeing on foot, Ford was located a few minutes later hiding under a house in the 700 block of Locust Street.
He is currently out on bond for shooting into another occupied vehicle in September 2020.
