Vicksburg PD responds to auto burglary and shots fired Tuesday

The Vicksburg Police Department reported two incidents for Tuesday, Feb. 4:

Officers responded to Vicksburg High School, 3701 Drummond St. at 9:16 p.m., in reference to an auto burglary. The victim stated that someone entered his 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 truck and stole $45 cash and his wallet.

At 10:13 p.m., officers responded to 100 King Drive in reference to shots fired. Officers saw no signs of suspicious activity upon arrival and recovered no evidence of shots being fired.
