Vicksburg PD responds to auto burglaries and shots fired

The Vicksburg Police Department responded to two auto burglaries and a report of shots fired on Monday, Dec. 23.

Officers took an auto burglary report in the Magnolia Manor Apartments (3515 Manor Drive), where the complainant said a pair of sunglasses, a phone charger and one dollar in change was missing.

The second auto burglary call was at a residence in the 1700 block of Court Street, where a Gucci purse, credit cards and checks were taken.

Officers also responded to a report of shots fired in the vicinity of Natchez Avenue. They found no activity in the area and no evidence of shots being fired.
