Vicksburg native Larry Walker will be hosting a book signing for his second “Through the Eyes of COVID-19 The Recovery” on May 1, 2021.

Walker recently finished his new project earlier this year and the book will provide a various amount of images how thing began to slowly get back to normal after the effects of COVID-19 that placed Vicksburg on lockdown.

Weddings, restaurant reopenings, and lifestyle changing images will be shown in the very creative book by Walker along with many more different events that took place with COVID-19 restrictions in place such as the George Floyd March that took place in downtown Vicksburg in 2020.

Walker also dedicated a page in the book to his wife, Reva who was hit with COVID-19, and the page shows mothers still had to parent although the deadly virus was in full effect.

“I put a whole lot of work into this and I’m very pleased of the results and I hope it turns out great,” Walker said.

Walker completed his first book last year while providing amazing images of how the city of Vicksburg was on lockdown and streets were cleared while most of the world never experienced such a thing.

In his more deeply detailed book that will be out next Saturday, Walker will share his images which so many individuals seem to enjoy from state to state.

The book signing will take place at 1221 Washington Street on May 1, 2021 2-4 p.m.

Walker has been doing photography since 2015 and to checkout his work just visit his website.
