Vicksburg could see up to 2 inches of snow by Monday

Folks in Vicksburg and other parts of Mississippi could wake up Monday to as much as 2 inches of snow on the ground.
A cold front is moving through the state starting this afternoon, bringing frigid temperatures and a chance of snow beginning Sunday night and into Monday morning.
Overnight temperatures will dip to or below freezing for the next several nights, with daytime highs only reaching into the 40s through Tuesday of next week.
Make sure any outdoor pets have sufficient shelter or make plans to bring them indoors during this spate of cold weather.
