Uptown Vicksburg vaccination site undeterred by rain

The drive-through vaccination station at the Uptown Vicksburg Mall remains open as of 10:15 a.m. despite inclement weather conditions.

Warren County Emergency Management Deputy Director Tracey Porter said they temporarily ceased operations for several minutes earlier this morning due to lightning. Porter says they are continually monitoring weather conditions and will make adjustments if necessary.

Weather conditions are expected to improve as we move towards the afternoon hours.
