Two charged with possession of meth Thursday

Two local men were arrested early Thursday morning for possession of methamphetamine.
Patrick Acuff, 36, and Justin Harrigill, 39, were arrested at 5:36 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11 at the former Parkview Medical Center.
Both men appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Thursday, where each of them faced charges of one count of possession of methamphetamine.
Methamphetamine is a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of which is a felony that can lead to a prison sentence of 4 to 24 years.
Judge Angela Carpenter bound both men over to the Warren County Grand Jury with $35,000 bonds.
