Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said he and Deputy Johnny Beauchamp stayed on the water Sunday until dark continuing the search for two hunters missing since Dec. 3.
In addition, agents from the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks deployed boats from LeTourneau and Port Gibson.
Pace said windy conditions kept the vessels moving at a slow rate. Pace also said weather conditions predicted for mid-week could possibly hamper search efforts.
In addition to the law enforcement vessels, boats associated with the United Cajun Navy and a helicopter were participating in search efforts on Saturday and Sunday.
Search efforts will resume Monday morning.
