Over 600 already without power from high winds

High winds ahead of the approaching squall line have already taken out power for some 600 Warren County residents.

The areas with the greatest number of people affected are on Jeff Davis road, Burnt House road, and Highway 27 south of Gibson road.

This number is expected to increase as the storm lands in Vicksburg around 5 a.m.

The Vicksburg Daily News has crews out to keep an eye on the storm and track any damage around town.
