Noah Bolton led his youth basketball team to a 33-4 victory Tuesday night at the Vicksburg YMCA.

Bolton plays for the Golden Eagles which is a team made up of third and fourth graders from around the Vicksburg community. Bolton led the team with 16 points to help the Golden Eagles secure the victory.

Because of the big lead, Bolton sat out the entire fourth quarter as the rest of the team kept the score in the winning range.

In fall 2019, Bolton starred in flag football for the Golden Eagles and helped them secure second place with a 5-2 record on the season. Bolton was the team’s star wide receiver.

Bolton is a third-grader at Bowman Elementary where he is a great student with a positive attitude.

The Vicksburg Daily News will name a player of the week each week after games are played in the 3rd-6th grade league, junior high and high school teams.
