Houston Rockets basketball player Russell Westbrook has announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

Westbrook made the announcement Monday on Twitter shortly before his team headed to Orlando, Florida, to finish out the 2020 season interrupted in the spring because of the virus.

Westbrook will have to isolate himself from the team for a couple of weeks before he can rejoin them.

“I’m currently feeling well, quarantined, and looking forward to rejoining my teammates when I am cleared,” Westbrook said in his tweet. “Please take this virus seriously. Be safe. Mask up!”

The NBA said Monday that two other players had tested positive for the coronavirus upon arriving in Florida. The two players, who were not named, have since left the campus to isolate at home and are now in quarantine.
