Warren Central High School volleyball team defeated crosstown rivals Vicksburg High in three sets on Thursday to continue their win streak.
The Lady Vikes brought victories of 25-14, 25-13, and 26-24. The final match was a close game between the two teams who fought to the very end.
With Serenity Montgomery serving on several occasions, WC was able to capture the win, improving to 2-4 on the season.
Although the Lady Vikes have had some tough matches early in the season, Thursday night’s victory was much needed and gave WC plenty of momentum. WC aims to carry that momentum when they face Riverside on Tuesday.
The Missy Gators are now 4-2 and recently pulled off a district win over Florence and will travel to Raymond on Tuesday.
