The lights danced in the fog.

We often are so busy with our daily lives that we forget the beauty of our little town. Friday night’s fog set a backdrop for some dramatic pictures of Vicksburg’s more notable features. Take a minute to relax and enjoy these photos of our home town.

The fountain at Monroe and Crawford has been a favorite for many years. The fog gave it the perfect soft background for this photo.

The Jackson Street at Monroe fountain was brought back to life a couple of years ago. The soft gas lights in the background and the perfectly manicured crepe myrtles help to create this relaxing scene.

The Levee Street view has long been a favorite of the photographer. Friday’s fog silhouetted the train museum while elements of the art park glow in the distance.
