The Easter Bunny is scheduled to visit downtown Vicksburg on March 27, for a community egg hunt and photos.

On Saturday, March 27, downtown Vicksburg will host a community egg hunt. Parents will also walk out with a prize egg.

Kids 10 and under can enjoy hunting for treat-filled eggs which will be scattered across Catfish Row at 1119 Levee Street.

The hunt is scheduled for 10 a.m. through 11:30 a.m., after which the Easter Bunny will begin to hop to Washington Street for shopping and dining. Live music will also be performed. The second part to this Easter event will be from 12 p.m. through 3 p.m.

This will be a free event open to the community and those that attend are encouraged to bring their own baskets and cameras.

COVID-19 regulations are to be followed. Masks are encouraged.
