Vicksburg natives DeMichael Harris and Malcolm Butler went head to head again Sunday night when the Indianapolis Colts took on the Tennessee Titans.

Butler led Titans to the 45-26 victory over the Colts, but both teams are having a great season.

Butler finished the game with 4 tackles and 1 interception for the Titans. Harris rushed one time for 2 yards and caught 1 pass for 1 yard for the Colts.

The two Vicksburg natives met for the first time last month when the Colts defeated the Titans 34-17, but this time it would be Butler and the Titans who took home the win.

Former Vicksburg Junior High assistant basketball coach DeAndre King is now coaching at Porter’s Chapel Academy where he is assisting with the girls’ basketball team.

King began coaching in 2015 at VJHS under head coach Julius Williams. They led the Gators to win the Little Six Championship that year.

King coached under VJHS head basketball coach Jerdon Hardiman last year, finishing the season with a 18-1 record. He also helped the team reach the Little Six Championship that year, falling just short of victory to Clinton.

Now that King has made the move over to PCA, he is coaching under Casey Fisher and alongside Chandler Ellis. With King’s assistance, the Lady Eagles have been gaining much success this season.
