Gaming Commission orders all Mississippi casinos to close by midnight Monday
All Mississippi casinos have been ordered to close by midnight Monday, March 16.
Mississippi Gaming Commission Chairman Allen Godfrey ordered the closures, confirmed Amanda Rebert with the commission.
Godfrey acted in response to Gov. Tate Reeves directive to follow the newest COVID-19 coronavirus national protocols to limit gatherings to no more than 10 people.
The commission has not provided an estimate of how long the closures will last.
