Four MSU football players test positive for COVID-19

Four Mississippi State University football players have tested positive for COVID-19, The Clarion Ledger has reported.

Due to the seriousness of the virus, those players who tested positive will have to quarantine for 14 days before they can resume team activities.

The Bulldogs began workouts Monday in Starkville, but the players were there only on a voluntary basis. Having four players test positive in the first week, it is not clear if that will affect future workouts or decisions made by the MSU administration.

Mississippi State is not the only Southeastern Conference team that has had players testing positive for COVID-19. Ole Miss and Alabama have both reported players who tested positive this week.
