Former WC baseball player DJ Lewis helps McPherson College to Saturday victory

Former Warren Central High School baseball player DJ Lewis helped McPherson College to a 17-7 win over York College on Saturday.

Lewis graduated from WC in 2018 where he helped lead the Vikings to a 21-10 record. This is his first year with McPherson after transferring from Southwest Mississippi Community College last season.

The outfielder had one hit and a run score for his team’s big win, which now places McPherson College with a 25-5 record.

The college is now on a five-game winning streak.

Lewis and McPherson College will be back in action on Tuesday as they host Tabor College.
