Warren County Road Manager Larry Flowers passed away Friday afternoon at his home of an apparent heart attack. He was 52.

“He was a great man, always trying to please,” said District 1 Supervisor Edward Herring

“This is another sad day for Warren County. Larry was a hard worker, dedicated,” said District 2 Supervisor William Banks,” Larry worked under some great road managers and had worked to prepare himself for the position and was doing a tremendous job. He is surely going to be missed.”

Flowers had been road manager for almost three years having worked his way through the ranks of the county work crew during a career that spanned 30 years.
