Circle K convenience store site of auto thefts and stolen vehicle recovery

On Nov. 10, 2019, while Vicksburg Police officers were on scene at the Circle K convenience store, 4150 Washington St., they noticed an unoccupied 2017 Dodge Ram pickup truck bearing Hinds County license tags parked near a gas pump. When they ran the tag though NCIC, the truck came back as a stolen vehicle. The owner was notified, and the truck was returned.

The Vicksburg Police Department responded to two reports of auto theft at the Circle K. On Nov. 9, a complainant reported that someone took her 2013 Cadillac STS, and on Nov. 10, a complainant reported that someone took his 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Grand Larceny

On Nov. 11, officers responded to a residence in the 2200 block of Pearl Street for a theft. The complainant reported that someone had stolen cash from a locked box inside the house.

Auto Burglary

On Nov. 11, officers took a report of an auto burglary in the 200 block of Springridge Road. The complainant reported someone had stolen a .45 caliber handgun from his vehicle.
