Vance Gray is an entrepreneur who has dedicated his life to serving others, both on and off the clock.

After spending several years working under other individuals, the driven Vicksburg native decided to start his own business in 2016 called V1 Express Mobile Detailing.

Gray says that a focus on service and customer satisfaction has helped his business thrive (photo with permission).

Gray has successfully run his small business for nearly five years. Since the start of V1 Express, Gray has been ambitious and very goal-oriented. He has built a loyal customer base and is aiming to expand his business beyond Vicksburg in the future.

“Within the next 2-3 years, I really want to expand to the Jackson-Madison area,” Vance said.

Operating a business single-handedly is hard work, and while there are many factors that determine success, Gray says that a commitment to customer satisfaction has always been the main focus of his business.

“I’m all about customer service and that is what drove me to start V1 Express. Since I’m now mobile, it’s easier for me to keep all my loyal customers satisfied,” Gray said.

Although Gray is busy running V1 Express and being a family man, he also takes time out of his schedule to help coach the Warren County Ravens, a youth football team in Vicksburg. He is the defensive coordinator for the Ravens, who had an undefeated 17-0 record last season. They will have 10 youth players going to an all-star game in Grand Station, Texas in a couple of weeks.

Gray helps the players hone their athletic skills and achieve their goals. He also hopes that the example he sets off the field resonates with the young men, some of whom do not have a father figure to look up to.

It is important for Gray to give back to the community, and working with the Ravens gives him the opportunity to share his experience and wisdom with the next generation.

“I’ve just gotten attached to the kids over the years and I enjoy being in their lives and it has also changed my life for the better,” Gray said.

Vance Gray has worked very hard over the years to get his life on track, but he knows he couldn’t have done it without those people who are the closest to him.

“I just really want to thank God, my wife and my family for always sticking with me and helping me find myself,” Gray said.

V1 Express Mobile Detailing offers car detailing services, pressure washing and more. If you’re looking for a great service that comes to you, give Vance a call at 601-630-6867 or visit the company Facebook page for more information.
