Area law enforcement are looking for homicide suspects

At around 2:30 p.m., Vicksburg-Warren E-911 issued an officer safety broadcast in reference to a homicide that occurred at around 1:47 p.m. inside the City of Ridgeland, on I-55 near the Renaissance.

One person is confirmed deceased as a result of a shooting that occurred on the highway. Details are still very scarce as of this writing.

Law enforcement has Interstate (I-55) in the area shut down at the moment as the area is a crime scene.
